Today marks 33 weeks. I cannot believe that I am 33 weeks pregnant with twins. I cannot believe I'm pregnant. I'm still in awe of where I am right now.
This Thursday I have my final growth scan. I'm expecting both boys to weigh five plus pounds (this would be keeping with their past two growth scans). This is the scan that will pretty much decide if I'm bound for a C-section. I really don't think that Baby A has turned into a good position since I felt him poking out opposite sides of my belly the other night (consequently causing me to have a contraction. I tried to explain to him that if he pushes on the uterus it pushes back. He didn't listen). I'm not excited about the thought of surgery, but I'll do whatever it takes to get these boys out safely.
Speaking of getting these boys out...I'm about to jinx myself, but...I really feel that I've only got about two weeks (or less) left before these kids are coming. I could be completely wrong on this one (good God please don't let me go to induction!), but it just feels like it's getting close. The amount of contractions I've been having has increased drastically. If I'm on my feet for more than 10 or so minutes I start contracting. If I'm not laying on my left side by a certain time at night I start contracting. Almost every night I have some cramping in my lower abdomen. I guess I'll find out Thursday if all this activity has had any effect on my cervix.
Don't get me wrong, I want these two to stay in until they're healthy enough to come out. I'm also very very very grateful to have gotten as far as I have with little to no issues. I am very blessed.

Wow...I can't believe how close you might be! I hope you manage to keep them in for a bit longer and then get them out safely! I can't believe you're at 33 weeks!
I don't mean tohorrify you, but even contracting for my nation since 20 weeks ME scraped in to 36 weeks- yes only by a few hours, but still...
Not to freak you out any further, but my final fundal height was 50cm. I grew 3cm between 34 and 35 weeks alone! :)

this is all so amazing. you know, this "i can't believe" feeling doesn't go away. at least not for me. i can't believe i had a baby, that i am a mom, that she is two months, that she smiles at me.
Already?!? Really?? Holy cow. I mean - I've been here since you got the bfp and I know how to add ... but still lol I'm all ... is she really already 33 wks???
My goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy shit! 33 weeks is so, SO freakin awesome. Wow. C-sections aren't that bad, I promise. :)
I am so sorry about your friend J! I hope she is ok, and gets a string of good luck soon. And, you carry your grudge to that neighbour. Seriously, a pregnant woman's gotta sleep, f*cks sake!!

Hopefully you'll go another three weeks for the sake of the babies, especially since they're both boys. Hang in there!! Considering you've never delivered any other way, I'm sure the c-section won't seem so bad.
Husbands are always so helpful, aren't they! Sounds like things are going well for you...can't wait to hear what they say after the scan! Take care!!!
PS - I had a c-section in August (at 38 weeks and 3 days - I was more than ready) and it's not too bad.
I am a bit jealous of twin mommies because they get to meet their little ones earlier!
Good luck for the growth scan. (I get another tomorrow!) I hope they are in the right position because being able to avoid a c-section would be awesome for you. My good friend had twins vaginally and within like 20 minutes. It was crazy! I hope you get as easy of a delivery!
