These welts first started showing up on him when we went to Greenville and he still has 5 scars from where the old spots were. This morning I found a new one...I am not pleased.
It's not easy to take a picture of a squirmy baby's arm! I wish i could have gotten a better shot so you could see the bumps all over the welt. Tomorrow it will have a head on it (not like a pimple...more like a fire ant bite) and a few days later it will begin to get crusty. I don't know what's causing these and it's beginning to drive me up a wall! Any ideas oh wise internets?

On a side note, if you had a choice of living on a military base in England or one in Japan, which would you choose? Yup! It looks like those are the possibilities we have right now.

I lived in England between second and fifth grade. I really liked it. If it were up to me, I would choose England. I've never been to Japan, though, so I can't comment about that. We did live in Indonesia. There is certainly less culture shock in England.
I vote for England but mostly because it's likely to be near my parents place and then we could maybe meet up...
First of all, I can't believe you were in Greenville! I wish I would have known and we could have taken you all out to eat (or play).
I have no idea what that spot is. Sorry!
I would choose England. Because I am too lazy to learn a new language. On the other hand, it would be great for your boys.
Yikes - that does look like a bug bite or something.
England or Japan!? Those both sound like really awesome choices!
Derm is so not my thing. My approach is as follows. If it's wet, dry it. If it's dry, wet it. Try a steroid cream, and if that fails or the rash gets worse, a fungal cream.
If you're stuck, see if their mates have it, it might be contagious. If it is, check you haven't just gone and caught it now.
If all else fails, biopsy it.
Can you see why I suck at derm? :)
I'd go with england, but that's for family reasons.

Oh that looks awful. Awful.
I would live in Japan. You can always go to England-it's not all that different than the U.S. You know what I mean. Plus, it rains too much for me. That's what *I* would do. GL!
well, I don't knw what it is, but it sounds very much like a bug bite. I am no expert, but I don't recall eczema having a head. I hope it is healed by now and no others showed up.
