Celebration

I can't believe my littlest guy is now a year old. I know everyone says this, but it's so true: It seems like he was just born. I remember it all so vividly. This has been one of the best years of my life. I honestly don't remember a whole lot about the first six months of the boys' lives, but with Aedan, it all sunk in.

The day I was born

Don't give up #HOPE

I'm 2 months old. This is one of 2 times Mommy remembered to take pictures of my with my stickers.

I'm too sexy for this hat!
Can I have some of what you're having?

Happy Little Lumberjack

Merry Christmas!

Hai!
Momma keeps putting me in silly hats.
This crazy photographer thinks I'm going to sit still!
Happy Birthday to Me!

This little guy started out at 7lb 8oz and 19" long; He's now 18lbs 7oz and 29 1/2" high.  He started out this little bundle of joy and now he's this super smiley little toddler that loves to give kisses and "bonks*" and thinks climbing on things is so cool! He has been a joy since the day he was born. Each day is a blessing that I wouldn't trade for anything!  Happy Birthday Aedan, Aedan-Pants**, Mr. Pants, Stinky-Face!

*bonks are when he taps his head against yours. it seems to be a sign of affection.
**I have no clue where the nickname Aedan-Pants came from. It's something I started calling him one day and it just stuck.

Touchy Little Tree

Tim has been on me to decorate for years. I mean, we've only lived in this house for 7 years. What's his rush? Well, I finally got some professional pictures of the boys made and decided I was ready to do it. I bought some frames. I printed out some art. But I had one spot left I wanted to fill.

So I made a handprint tree. I bought a $3 document frame from wallyworld, I bought two stamp pads from Michael's, I gathered my printer, cardstock, and children, and I got to work!

Click on the picture for the printable and instructions.

And here is my end results*:
*I still need to add Tim's prints and replace the glass in the frame.

I downloaded the larger file then used Picasa to add our name and print it as an 8.5 x 11. The boys had so much fun putting their grubby little fingerprints on the tree!

I already had a large picture of the boys framed for the centerpiece and printed this (large blue background version) to go on one side. Now this is the perfect finishing touch!

And since I can't mention a pro pic of the boys and not share my lovelies, so here it is:
